Using CampusSwap

CampusSwap is a marketplace that helps members of college communities discover items and arrange local transactions. You must provide accurate account information, protect your account credentials, comply with applicable law and campus policy, and be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Listings and user content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CampusSwap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and promote the marketplace. You represent that you own your content or have permission to use it and that your listings are truthful.

Do not post scams, counterfeit or stolen goods, weapons, controlled substances, sexual content, harassment, threats, hateful content, personal information belonging to others, or anything illegal or unsafe. CampusSwap may review, restrict, or remove content and may suspend accounts that violate these terms or the community rules.

Transactions and safety

Buyers and sellers make their own arrangements and payments. CampusSwap is not the buyer, seller, owner, carrier, payment processor, or guarantor of an item. Inspect items before paying, meet in a safe public campus location when possible, and never send money or sensitive information to someone you do not trust.

Reports and enforcement

Use the in-app Report and Block controls when content or conduct is unsafe. We may investigate reports, preserve relevant records, remove listings, restrict communication, or suspend an account. For an appeal or urgent moderation follow-up, contact support.

Service availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, CampusSwap does not guarantee the identity of users, item quality, listing accuracy, payment, pickup, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions, notices, and appeals can be sent to support@campusswapapp.com.
